About me

……

The design bug bit me at a very tender age, when I used to show my mother pretty houses in magazines, from the warmth of my Designers Guild-decorated bedroom. I must have been about six when she told me for the first time “you know, this is a job.” Little did we know then that this was indeed the job I would end up doing. For real.

Originally from Paris, I spent most of my career as an interiors stylist, trends expert and design writer between Paris and London. Feeding on the influence of two of the most cutting-edge cities in Europe made my work considerably stronger. I was writing and styling for magazines on both sides of the channel, always a Eurostar away from a new exciting project, working for my dream clients. Imagine the pride when I phoned my mother to announce I was commissioned by her revered Designers Guild, a collaboration that lasted several seasons. Following this, I spent four years as in-house interiors editor at WGSN, where planes replaced trains, as I jetted to design weeks and professional trade shows around the world. And then the travel bug bit me too. So now I report on lifestyle and retail trends on a global scale, travelling to discover what a place has to offer, and sharing this info with interested readers, whether dilettante blog subscribers or authoritative design-forward brands.

I am currently based in Tel-Aviv, reporting on the emerging design scene in the Middle-East. Lucky me…
